NOVA RACE AND FRANZ DUBUIS FIELDS A CAR FOR ITALIANS MAGNONI, MARCHETTI, GARBELLI AT 15 HOURS OF JARAMA
Reggio Emilia, September 28th 2017. Team Nova Race is set for an extra race, this coming weekend, at 15 Hours of Jarama, with an all Italian crew.
The Emilia-based squad fields a car in the one-make series Lamera Cup for Luca Magnoni and Alessandro Marchetti. The first one already claimed this year several GTS class victories with a Ginetta G55 GT4 in the Italian GT, whilst Marchetti made his debut in the same championship driving a twin car.
To partner the duo will be Enrico Garbelli, who has several experiences in single seater and GT, and raced a Nova Race's P2 prototype in 2016 at Mugello.
The car they will share for the first time is fielded by Franz Dubois, whith whom Nova Race renews every year its partnership in the 25H Fun Cup.
"I cannot forget the track is the same on which the great champion Gilles Villeneuve won his last F1 Grand Prix in 1981. I will do my best also for this", commented Marchetti.
The 15 Hours of Jarama, sixth of the Lamera Cup rounds, starts on Saturday at 1,30 pm for the first eight-hour part. Race two gets underway on Sunday morning at 9,30 am. Free practice and qualifying are scheduled also on Saturday.
