TEAM NOVE RACE SET FOR ITALIAN GT OPENER AT IMOLA
Reggio Emilia, April 25th 2017. After a brilliant season opener, marked by the 12H Mugello class victory and the fourth place clinched at the same track for 3H Endurance Champions Cup by Luca Magnoni, team Nova Race is set to make its comeback to the Italian GT championship.
The Reggio Emilia-based squad led by Elisa Maioli enters the first round of the series scheduled for this coming weekend (29-30 April) at Imola, fielding two Ginetta G55s in the GT4 class that will share the same grid with the Cup and Super GT Cup cars.
To drive one of the Nova Race's British car will be Luca Magnoni, who was the frontrunner in the first two rounds of the 2017 season. Gianluca Carboni and Giampiero Cristoni will team up sharing another Ginetta.
Free practice will kick off on Friday. The two-15-minute qualifying are scheduled for Saturday with the light at 8:30 am, followed by the first of the two-48-minute plus one lap races scheduled at 12:40 pm. Race 2 will start on Sunday at 3:55 pm, live at AutomotoTV.
